DPDP Compliance

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), effective from August 2023, grants individuals rights over their digital personal data. This page explains how India 12th Model Papers 2021 complies with the DPDP and how you can exercise your rights.

Scope and Applicability

This website is an informational blog offering educational resources for 12th-grade students in India. We do not collect, store, or process personal data through user registration, forms, or databases. Any data collected is limited to automatically generated website analytics (e.g., IP addresses, browser type, pages visited) for improving user experience and site performance, solely for internal purposes.

Your Rights Under DPDP

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access your digital personal data processed by us
  • Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure of your data
  • Right to grievance redressal if you believe your rights have been violated

Note: Since we do not actively collect personal data, these rights primarily apply to any incidental data collected via analytics tools.

How We Comply

We comply with the DPDP by:

  • Not collecting personal data through forms, accounts, or subscriptions
  • Using analytics tools that anonymize or pseudonymize data where possible
  • Ensuring all third-party services (e.g., Google Analytics) adhere to DPDP-compliant data processing agreements
  • Reviewing data collection practices annually to ensure minimal data usage

Data We Process

We may incidentally process the following types of data:

  • IP addresses (anonymized)
  • Device type and browser information
  • Pages visited and time spent on site
  • Geolocation at country level only (not city or street level)

No name, email, phone number, or other identifiable information is collected unless voluntarily provided through a contact form.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing of incidental data is based on legitimate interest under Section 11(2) of the DPDP, to ensure the website functions effectively and delivers educational content efficiently. We do not rely on consent for this limited processing.

If you believe any personal data has been collected about you and wish to exercise your rights under DPDP, please contact us at:

Include in your message:

  1. Your full name
  2. Any identifier you believe we may have collected (e.g., IP address, device ID)
  3. The right you wish to exercise (access, correction, erasure)

We will respond within 30 days.

Response Timeframes

Under DPDP, we are required to respond to your request within 30 days of receipt. If we need additional time, we will notify you with a reason for the delay.

No Discrimination Policy

We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service to you because you exercised your rights under the DPDP.
